Upon receipt of the dispute, we will investigate your dispute and, in some instances, we will need you to provide more information to allow us to move forward with our investigation of your dispute. We will make you aware of any further information we need from you when you raise the dispute. In some cases, we will not be able to progress without it.
Some possible outcomes from the investigation may be that:
- The inaccuracy or incompleteness lies with the credit bureau from whom you permissioned the transfer of your credit information. If so, we will let you know and share details. You can also see the list of credit bureaus we work with here and reach out to them directly to expedite the investigation.
- Nova Credit updates your report with the inaccuracy or incompleteness corrected and we will provide an updated copy of the report, highlighting the correction.
Each request will be investigated on a case-by-case basis, and we will let you know your outcome.
