A credit report freeze, also known as a security freeze, allows consumers to restrict access to your credit report, making it difficult for identity thieves to open accounts in your name. Sometimes, when immigrating to a new country, consumers will freeze their credit report. If your report has been frozen if your prior home country, we will not be able to access it. Therefore you do not need to worry about a financial institution or property manager getting access to frozen data. If you'd like to unfreeze your report, then you must contact the foreign credit bureau. Click here for their contact information.
